Final Integrative Assignment--Speaking of YOUR SUCCESS!!--ORDER for Speech 3 on Tues. and Wed. March 16 and 17
1. Speech #3 will be a Vision Speech where you speak about what your success--connected to education will be in the future. You will need to do an outline, a practice videotape, and be in class March 16 & 17. JANE'S POWERPOINT OF HER VISION SPEECH FOR 2013. EXAMPLE OF A SPEECH BY BILL GATES--Please listen to this speech in preparation for yours!
2. Essay #3 will be a final essay where you define success, report on research your have done online and in the library, interview someone, and write up your results and explain your "vision" as you complete this project. You will have a Research report; Interview report; and Progress report DUE--see dates on the calendar as you work on the assignments. LINK TO LIBRARY RESOURCES by Elinor Appel.
3. CHECK the CALENDAR of ASSIGNMENTS--Interview Report DUE on March 16th so change that on the light pink HANDOUT!!
4. Other Important DATES: Exit Writing Exam on March 18th --You must be here to do that exam. Sentence Combining FOLDER DUE on March 11th; Final Portfolio of Papers DUE on March 18th.

I learned that helpful and amazing people work at the North Seattle CC and were willing to give an hour of their time to come today to help our students with their success goal.

From Mr.Tom Drummond i learned that how to my BA degree transfer to university in this country, and how many universities i should apply. He also explained me that what is West-B exam and how is connected to my goal.
ReplyDeleteI learn from Coryl Celene-Martel that new college which calls Cornish, and she explain about Cornish. Also she liked my design. She tells me that i have to meet a lot of people for graduate from university.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the advice from Tom Drummond, after finishing the "Pharmacy Technician Program",if I really want to further my study in future, it's better to get an "AA Degree" to instead of an 'AAS Degree"

ReplyDeleteI learned that what I need generally to be successful person. Marilyn Smith told us about alternative career that if I couldn't reach to my goal, I need the other goals. Also, she told about writing skill; although I am going to be engineer, I need strong wrinting skill to expain about engineering to other who is not familiar with engineering language.
ReplyDeleteFrom Mr.Tom Drummond i learned that i have to go to the Western Washington University to ask what classes should i take to begin my elementary education for AA degree in North Seattle Community College and he told me that i have to take west B exam to to reach teaching certificate license to teach in public school K through 12 grade.

ReplyDeleteI learned that, how to make a small or short summary plan for my life, organize the steps and and have a priority for things? MR. Keiser Talked to us about his experience and what happed to his carrier. I'll leave the rest for the other :)
ReplyDeleteI learned a lot from Marci Wing. She told us many stories that I never heard before. It was a very short time, but it was so helpful for me. She also taught how to live in America well, she also helped me to find out some of my questions about my plan.
