Part 1 of Evaluation of Speech 2 is due on Monday, 2/22

HI everyone,
I would like for you to hand in to me Part 1 of your Reflection assignment on Monday, February 22 (the rest of your Reflection Assignment is due to me on Wednesday, February 24).
Here's what I'd like you to do. After watching your video (don't forget to rewind!) and using the Evaluation Tool, I'd like you to evaluate your own speech from the following three perspectives:

1. Nonverbal Skills -- up to 50 possible points
2. Vocal Skills - up to 30 possible points
3. Speech Content - up to 70 possible points.

When you assign yourself points for the following three areas, please cite specific evidence or examples of why you think you should get these points. For example, you might give yourself 15/15 points for good eye contact (found in the nonverbal skills section). You might say that in watching your speech you noticed that you did establish good eye contact with your audience. Or, you might give yourself 10/15 points because you say that although you did have some eye contact, you see that you could do more in this area.

I'd like you to type up this part of your evaluation (double space, 12 point font) and give it to me on Monday at the beginning of class. Once I have received your evaluation, I will give to you the evaluation score (I will average the score plus give you the high and low scores) plus the score from your instructors. This will allow you to complete the rest of the evaluation which is due to me by Wednesday, February 24.
